Advantages:
When compared with dial-up

Disadvantages:
· To use the WiFi we must exist in an area accessible by WiFi or the term 'hotspot'.
· WiFi coverage area is still small, the signal can not penetrate walls.
· Access Point is more easily infiltrated by a virus

WiMAX Benefits
Bandwidth and reach of WiMAX enabled technology is used in the following applications:
