Huawei and Globe Telecom to hold 2.5 GHz WiMAX Network in Largest Southeast Asia

Huawei Technologies ("Huawei"), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today announced the successful hold 2.5 GHz WiMAX commercial network with coverage of Southeast Asia's largest for Globe Telecom, the first operator in the Philippines, which launched broadband services.



Huawei provides telecom-grade WiMAX solution complete (end-to-end) to Globe Telecom that enables network operators to roll out widely in a short time. With this WiMAX network availability Globe Telecom subscribers can enjoy wireless access to broadband high-speed and high quality VoIP services that respond to the demand for Internet access and broadband services affordable and reliable increases in certain countries.
